Even ignoring this, there are crucial elements of gameplay and mechanics that just aren’t present at all. Even in character creation, some of the races are missing entirely and customizations felt seriously lacking. I downloaded this game the very minute it was released and could tell almost immediately that this game is nowhere near finished and is missing so much of what was promised. The devs promised that the early access label was something they decided to add on last minute, that no major game elements were changed or delayed due to this label- just that they want fans to know they will continue adding even more later game content and additional story. However, the initial release was postponed, and the delayed release was then changed to early access. With their amazing success on Kickstarter and a huge fan base already built before the game even released, the hype for Sun Haven was pretty massive.Īfter the Kickstarter campaign was fully funded (and plenty more was raised), the devs began to tease some amazing gameplay elements, characters, and story lines. As a Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and general RPG lover- this game seemed to have everything I could have ever wanted and more- a classic farming sim with a magical adventure twist. You kinda need something to make money on its own or run on its own if you are going to be in another town all day.Sun Haven is a game that I have been looking forward to for months. My strategy has really been to hoard a bunch of the materials I get throughout the game and to come up with low maintenance/ continuous money making ideas as I don't see it being easy to jump between the farms and do everything everywhere every day in the game. I've been expanding the fish nets as well. Max animal food is 20 per week so keeping the animals at 3 means you spent 21 a week but that is pretty low maintenance. I turn them into juices as it doesn't cost extra materials.Īlso if you keep your animals at a max of 3, you can get their goods and sell them after you unlock the increased animal cost and unlock the trait that gives you animal food. With the fruit multipler it can net you some decent money. Can't wait to see how keg making goes once I gather enough materials.Īdditionally, I used the seed maker to make fruit tree rows. Progressed further in the story and found a mob that drops it so I was like thank God. So that was kind of painful checking the tree spawns every day to get 1 wood a piece. Just found out an easier way to get hardwood as I was slowly chopping the trees (which it is annoying the log multiplier doesn't work for hardwood tree trucks). I have unlocked the keg so I'll be experimenting with elvan grapes on those. Lotus flowers are an all season crop so only need to change out the scarecrows and it's nice low maintenance money. Then boom you have 400 gold a piece lotus honey. Multiplied my flowers and for the bee hives you can share one of the side flower beds so you don't need 12 more like 8 new for each bee hive as you can stack them by each other.Īnyways set up scarecrows. Then I bought one lotus flower (it's 600 gold a piece). So here's my current set up:įirst make a bunch of seed makers (I have 4 currently). Eh actually I played the long game for money growth.
